Westmead Hospital required a visual enforcement for their crossing to increase pedestrian safety, especially during busy periods or at night when visibility is impaired. We installed our Solar Enhanced LED flashing arrays with pedestrian crossing signs. The system has an LED array on both sides facing the direction of oncoming traffic, and is triggered by a K-band doppler radar, so the system activates when traffic approaches the crossing.
