Gamuda (Australia) Pty Ltd, operating across all Sydney Metro construction sites, identified a major safety concern with low-hanging power lines at site entry and exit points. Large trucks entering and leaving worksites posed a high risk of striking power lines, endangering drivers and staff. A reliable Solar Height Clearance Warning System solution was needed to provide clear, immediate warnings and prevent incidents.

Assessment
After reviewing the site challenges, SLD designed a highly effective custom Solar Height Clearance Warning System. The system used P.I.R. detection beams set at the maximum vehicle clearance height, triggering visual alerts when broken by oversized vehicles. Alerts were visible to both drivers and nearby personnel to prevent unsafe entry. Key Product Features:

Outcome
