Australian Marine and Civil Boat Ramp Lighting

Client Brief

Australian Marine and Civil were contracted to design a new boat ramp and adjoining carpark for the Queensland state government. Part of their design requirements involved custom designed lighting and lighting programming for the boat ramp, to ensure people can safely load and unload their boats at night. Furthermore, they required custom designed 8-metre-tall lighting columns that were designed to suit coastal areas.

Assessment

Due to the client’s request for 8 metre columns and custom lighting programming, we proposed our 80w Blade Overhead Solar Fittings, as they are suitable for 6-8 mounting heights and can custom programmed to suit most clients needs. Additionally, we designed, manufactured and supplied custom 8 metre Hinged Columns lighting columns which were completely hot-hip galvanised and powder coated for maximum rust prevention.  

Outcome

SLD manufactured and delivered the lighting columns and lights to the client, who successfully installed them.
