Solar Lighting Designs supplied a purpose-built solar car park lighting solution for the Murray Engineering workshop car park. The project incorporated 19 Blade solar car park lights with custom poles and adaptors to provide lighting throughout the new parking area.
Client Brief
Murray Engineering required a dedicated lighting solution for its workshop car park. The requirement was to provide solar-powered car park lighting across the parking and vehicle access areas, with a configuration suited specifically to the layout of the new car park.
Assessment
Following an assessment, Solar Lighting Designs picked a combination of 20W and 40W Blade solar car park lights.
The supplied solution consisted of:
- 18 x 20W Blade Solar Car Park Lights
- 1 x 40W Blade Solar Car Park Light
- Custom poles
- Double light head adaptors
The custom poles and double light head adaptors allowed the Blade solar lights to be configured to suit the different lighting positions throughout the workshop car park.
As standalone solar lighting systems, the Blade units provided a practical solution for the new car park without requiring the underground electrical trenching associated with traditional grid lighting.
Outcome
The completed installation provides Murray Engineering with commercial solar car park lighting across its workshop parking area. A total of 19 Blade solar car park lights were supplied, combining 18 x 20W units with a 40W unit and custom pole and double-head configurations to suit the site.
The finished project demonstrates how solar-powered car park lights can be configured around the requirements of a commercial workshop environment, providing a standalone lighting solution tailored to the car park layout.
For commercial and industrial sites requiring purpose-designed car park lighting, Solar Lighting Designs can develop solar lighting solutions around the specific layout and requirements of each project.
The project used 18 x 20W Blade Solar Car Park Lights and 1 x 40W Blade Solar Car Park Light, providing a total of 19 solar lighting systems across the workshop car park.
Yes. For this project, the Blade solar car park lights were supplied with custom poles and double light head adaptors to suit the specific layout and lighting requirements of the car park.
Solar-powered car park lighting provides a standalone lighting solution without relying on conventional underground electrical distribution infrastructure. This makes it a practical option for commercial and industrial car parks where an off-grid lighting solution is required.
